Welcome to BcauseU. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Overview
BcauseU creates original, personalized songs commissioned by our customers. When you purchase a product from our store, you are commissioning a unique song created to your specifications. A physical keepsake (the Keepsake Magnet) may accompany your order depending on the option you select.
2. Products and Services
All songs created by BcauseU are original and made specifically for each customer. As part of your order, you'll complete a short survey sharing the personal details, stories, and preferences that guide the creation of your song. Creation begins once your survey is submitted.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
4. Order Process
Once your order is placed and your survey is submitted, we begin creating your song. Your digital song typically arrives about 7–10 days after your survey. If your order includes the Keepsake Magnet, the physical keepsake typically arrives about 3–4 weeks after your survey, with the song delivered digitally first. You'll be notified by email when your song is ready and when any physical item has shipped.
5. Intellectual Property
Your song is yours to enjoy — you're free to use, play, and share your song however you like. By placing an order, you agree that BcauseU may use portions of the songs we create in our social media, advertising, and marketing content. BcauseU retains ownership of its brand, trademarks, logos, and website content.
6. Revisions
Each order includes one complimentary lyrics revision. Once we send your lyrics, you have 24 hours to request changes. If we don't hear from you within that window, we'll finalize the lyrics as written and begin creating your song. If you miss the window, email help@bcauseu.com and we'll do our best to help.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Please refer to our Return and Cancellation Policy for detailed information about cancellations, refunds, and our revision process.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or to request content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes upon the rights of any third party. BcauseU reserves the right to decline any order at our discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
BcauseU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
